• year-round preparation towards festival activities which take place outdoors - traditional festival MLADIFEST (in July) with workshops, courses, concerts, theatre performances, film and traveller evenings, sport games, programme for kids - Cooperation with student associations
• August cleaning activities in the centre and maintenance works (painting the walls, cleaning, checking and repairing the equipment)

PROJECTS ON AN INTERNATIONAL LEVEL:

• YOUTH program (European Voluntarily Service) - 6 months (from October 2005 till April 2006) we are hosting a volunteer from Spain
• MC Podlaga is part of the European Youth Centres Network
• Art exchanges with different countries, mostly with Italy and Croatia
• Festival RDEČE ZORE (in cooperation with KUD MREŽA, MC Podlaga - Sežana, Mama Cash -Netherlands, Radio Študent, ŠKUC/LL /Klub Monokel, KUD Anarhiv, Sektor Ž, Vila Mara, R.A.F.A.L., D.Z.A.C., Lesbian ConneXion/s, Festival Mesto Žensk
• Cooperation with the Network of Slovenian Cultural Associations from Trieste - the project forms part of the special project for Furlanie Julian Krajine (CROSS-BORDER THEATRE AND VIDEO WORKSHOP), the final production was presented in Trieste and in Sežana
• Cooperation with the festival CITY OF WOMEN - we hosted musicians from Babsley at MC Podlaga

INFORMING AND ADVISING:

• INFO POINT ON OUR WEB PAGE www.mcpodlaga.com and regular maintenance of the page plus advertising the programme and events
•  YC Podlaga is part of the network of INFO centres and databases for informing young people (MISSS, Kanal mladih, ..)
• Informing people of local cultural activities and in the wider area,
• Informing users about seminars, courses, and educational programmes,
• Informing and helping people with researching information (accommodation, looking for work - how to write a job application and curriculum vitae, legal help, looking for tourist destinations for youngsters),
• Providing general information on events, programmes and funding in Slovenia and abroad
• Providing general help for young people and other clubs - advising, counselling, lending equipment and human resources
